**2024 Special Resolution to Revise Bylaw 3.9: Reduction of AGM Quorum from 3% to 1%**
As our membership continues to grow, so does our quorum, and it can be challenging to get over 100 people to attend an AGM on a dark, rainy night!
The proposed 2024 Special Resolution—Amendment of Bylaw 3.9 is a significant step towards enhancing the efficiency of our operations. Amending Bylaw 3.9 and reducing the quorum requirement for our Annual General Meeting (AGM) from 3% of eligible voting members to 1% will ensure that our organization operates more smoothly and remains responsive to its governance needs while preserving the integrity of the AGM process. This change will support our long-term stability and allow us to serve our members better.
For those who cannot attend in person, we will live-stream the AGM via Zoom and you can vote on BOD applications remotely via the Member Portal. A recording will be made available and linked on our website.
