The NSMBA has 5 specialized committees tasked with advancing our Strategic Plan and supporting operations. These volunteer-driven groups bring together board directors, employees, and community members to tackle specific focus areas. Our committees welcome passionate volunteers to contribute their skills and ideas.
Events and Volunteers Committee
Builds community engagement and fundraising through volunteer coordination, event planning (especially the Fiver events), and community pop-ups. Creates volunteer training resources and develops future event strategies.

Trails Working Group
Handles trail network plan development and volunteer builder support through onboarding programs, planning for the North Shore Trail Strategy,, and gathering public feedback to improve trail days.

Trails For All Committee
Promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion in mountain biking by building community relationships, developing youth programs, and advocating for trail accessibility for all mountain bikers.

Finance Committee
Provides financial oversight, budget planning, and transparent reporting to the board and membership through regular financial reviews and annual reporting.
PR/Communications Committee
Assistance in NSMBA public relations and communications strategy to enhance the organization’s visibility.
