I am both excited and proud to have the opportunity to contribute to the NSMBA in this capacity! I am responsible for the day-to-day operation of the organization; to oversee the administration, programs and strategic plan of the organization, to fundraise, market, and reach out to community to help support our amazing network of trails and build good environmental stewardship among our members.
I bring with me over 15 years of trail building experience in the private, municipal and non profit sectors. My roots started out building in the Whistler Bike Park, which quickly led to an excavator operating position. From there I was a large contributor to the design and construction of the Sea to Sky Trail from Function Junction to Brandywine Falls. After that I travelled the world with Gravity Logic Inc building a wide variety of trails, most notably, the top-to-bottom moto-style jump trail Rainmaker at Trestle Bike Park in Winter Park, Colorado.

Executive Director (Currently on Maternity Leave)My role with the NSMBA is to support, elevate, “spring-board” and optimize all the great work that has already taken place. I bring with me a wealth of managerial experience, a unique skill set that includes budgeting, forecasting, marketing, strategic planning and expert cat herder.
I have enjoyed the last three years with the North Shore Mountain Bike Association because of all the different projects I have been a part of. From expanding our social media channels to improve communications, increase our membership year over year and continue to build and develop our relationships in the community I am humbled and inspired by the support of the North Vancouver and mountain bike community in making our goals a reality.
There is a lot to do when working with a volunteer driven non-profit organization and I look forward to the challenge everyday! If you need anything drop me a line! email@example.com

Trail Crew Lead
Trail AcademyI’ve been a trail builder for the NSMBA for the past few years, and had the honour of leading academy practical and advanced days for the past two. I’m very excited to be part of the Academy team this year to further develop this excellent (free) program to help train the builders of the future!
Trail AcademyI’m excited to take on a new role with the NSMBA, sharing my passion of caring for the trails and inspiring others to do the same. In addition to many hours of volunteer trail work and my experience as a TAP builder, I bring expertise in course design and curriculum development and welcome the opportunity to grow the Arc’teryx Trail Academy and Race Face Shore Corps programs. I look forward to training future trail stewards in innovative and sustainable trail building and maintenance practices.
Summer Trail Maintenance Labourer
I’m super excited to be a part of the NSMBA team! I love seeing the progression in projects come together however it was envisioned. I grew up riding the shore and always have loved what we have to ride. Keeping it maintained and bringing all kinds of riders out really gets me stoked.
I am grateful to have been a part of the NSMBA Trail Crew for over a year now. After graduating from the Outdoor Recreation Management Program at Capilano University, I was excited to bring a focus of environmental stewardship and sustainability to the trails. I take a strong sense of pride and responsibility in maintaining a trail network that is sacred to so many people. I look forward to continuing to build a progressive network for all levels of riders while staying true to the roots of mountain biking on the North Shore.
It is a tremendous privilege to be a part of the NSMBA. Through my role as administrator I will be assisting our fantastic team of staff and volunteers in continuing to make the NSMBA a leader in community building, environmental stewardship and mountain biking advocacy.

Summer Communications Coordinator
As a relatively recent transplant to the West Coast I was amazed by the level of kinship found within the mountain bike community. I feel very lucky to be a part of an organization like the NSMBA that fosters those sentiments and welcomes anyone to be a part of it.
The dedication everyone puts in to protecting and enhancing the north shore trail network is inspiring and I will work hard as communications coordinator to rally those who love the trails and want to take part.
