What is the Fromme Fondo?
What began as a personal challenge undertaken by past president and current Builder Vince Beasse has now become an annual tradition for Fromme riders!
The Fromme Fondo is a ride challenge through the badge system on Trailforks. Not sure what a Trailforks badge is? Click here to find out!
The goal is simple: on the first Saturday of every September riders attempt to ride as many trails as they can in a single ride.
How does it work?
In order to unlock the badge, you must log your ride on the *Trailforks app, or *sync your ride from Strava.
Riding at least 10 trails will get you the badge as well as on to the leaderboard. The more trails you ride, the higher you’ll rank on the leaderboard and the top 10 riders will be entered to win some awesome prizes. Everyone who unlocks the badge will also get a limited edition vinyl sticker (available to pickup on Fromme during your ride).
Be sure to tag us on Facebook, Instagram and twitter using the hashtag #frommefondo and we will share your photos throughout the day.
*If you have logged your ride and Trailforks is not picking up that you rode a certain trail(s), you can correct it by following the steps in this video.
Please note that this is not a formal group ride/race and riders may start and end wherever and whenever they choose as long as all park and gate closure times are respected.
