Dear Fiver Community,

It is with a heavy heart that we bring you the unfortunate news of the cancellation of our highly anticipated Casual Fiver event scheduled for Saturday, June 3rd. We understand the disappointment this may cause, but we wanted to provide you with an explanation of the reasons behind this decision.

We had hoped to offer a Fiver event on a Saturday to accommodate riders who may have conflicts with attending our typical Thursday night events. However, the logistical aspects of planning an event on a Saturday presented unforeseen obstacles that made it impossible for us to proceed as initially intended.

Firstly, our sponsors encountered significant challenges in finding an appropriate location to host the après event. As you know, the après is an essential part of the Fiver experience, offering an opportunity for riders to connect, share stories, and celebrate their accomplishments. However, despite exhaustive efforts, we were unable to secure a venue that met our requirements for size, atmosphere, and accessibility. We believe that compromising on the après experience would not do justice to the spirit of Fiver, and thus, we made the difficult choice to cancel the event.

Secondly, and equally important, we faced a shortage of volunteers for the event. Our dedicated volunteers are the backbone of the Fivers, enabling us to provide an unforgettable experience for our community. Unfortunately, we were unable to gather the necessary number of volunteers to ensure the smooth execution of the event. We deeply appreciate the time and effort our volunteers have contributed in the past and understand that their availability can sometimes be limited.

We want to emphasize that this decision was not made lightly. As organizers, our primary goal is to provide the best possible experience for our members and the community. We are committed to upholding the high standards and values that Fiver represents, and canceling the event was the responsible choice to ensure that we can continue to deliver exceptional events in the future.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and disappointment this cancellation may cause. We understand your enthusiasm and look forward to bringing you an exceptional Fiver experience at our next scheduled event on June 8th. We value your continued support and appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Thank you for being part of the NSMBA community, and we hope to see you at our next event.

Warm regards,

Deanne Cote
