Keep in mind that if you buy a membership for someone and use their email, they will automatically receive a welcome email giving them access to their member account and portal.
So if you want to keep it a surprise, simply use your email instead of theirs when filling out the member details. Once you complete the order and have been sent login details, you will be able to update the email that the account is connected to and then give them the login details.
