Powerline Trail is ready to go

With snow gone and the Summer dryness still a ways a way, we’re in perhaps the busiest time for the trails right now.

Our trail crew fixed up a major section of the Powerline Trail on Seymour, rebuilt the Skybridge on Boogienights (after wind debris damaged it), and kept busy with projects on Bobsled, Floppy Bunny, Roadside Attraction, Expresso, Boogienights, Dreamweaver and Digger!

The community was out in force the past month with a bunch of TAP days taking place!

  • Dreamweaver (w/ Arc’teryx)
  • Expresso (w/ MEC)
  • Severed D (w/ La Bicicletta)
  • Forever After (w/ Rocky Mountain Bicycles)
  • The Fromme Ascent (w/ Steed Cycles)
  • John Deer (w/ BC Bike Race)
  • Pangor  (w/ Giant Vancouver)
  • Seventh Secret (w/ MORE Bikes)
  • Dales (w/ NS Ride)

Race Face Shore Corps members from the Wood Structures Trail Academy got a lot of hands on experience by building some new bridges on Bridal Path! Ever wonder what it takes to build a bridge? Check out below!

Be sure to check our Events Calendar to find all upcoming Community Trail Days! Also consider enrolling in the Arc’teryx Trail Academy to learn the principals behind trail building/maintenance and get even more opportunities to work on the trails!

Remember to report any maintenance issues you see on the trails via Trailforks!
