NSMBA AGM Thursday Nov 25 8pm Lynn Valley Rec Center
Come out for the Annual General Meeting of the North Shore Mountain Bike Association on Thursday November 25th at 8pm at the Lynn Valley Rec Center on Mountain Highway.
It’s been nearly a year since the fresh blood of the new Board of Directors took the helm in December 2009. During the evening, you’ll learn what’s been done in 2010 and what awaits in 2011. The Board will bring you up to speed on the relations with the landowners and where some significant opportunities exist in the very near future on the Shore. “It’s a new era upon us and we are seeing the sport of mountain biking being embraced on the Shore like never before.” Says Adam Walsh, Advocacy Director, “2011 is shaping up to be a pivotal point in our history.”
Bobsled Grand Opening Photos Online (in our new Online Store)
Two big news items here:
Bobsled Grand Opening Photos Online
During the Grand Opening of the newly rebuilt Bobsled trail on Fromme, professional photographers Spencer Kovats and Cameron Hunter were there capturing photographs of as many riders as possible. Spencer was positioned near the start of the trail, and Cameron was a bit further down. You can find all of their photos in our new online store. With a donation of $10 we will provide you with a high resolution version of the your image as our thanks to you.
New Online Store
We have set up a fully functioning on-line store as the delivery mechanism for these photos. This enables us to easily set up and manage the downloads, and also gives us the facilities to sell on-line in the future.
