Summer ’26 Trail Update
Richard Juryn – Seymour
The climb re-route on Richard Juryn has been one of the season’s ongoing Trail Crew projects. Work started with re-route construction and a bridge replacement in March, followed by duff removal, rock filling, rock splitting, and dirt work in May. June brought the most progress yet: fresh trail cut, rocks split, material sourced, and a ton of dirt moved into place. – Thanks Trail Crew!
Bridle Path – Seymour
TAP Partner Coast Mountain Trail Running
The twinned section built earlier this spring is now fully complete. Drainage added, mineral soil refreshed, and the area alongside the trail renaturalized. Go ride / Run it! – Thanks to Penny & Dave!
Corkscrew – Seymour
The rock-roll just after the Salvation junction was fully rebuilt with improved rockwork for drainage, a better rider line, and soil retention lower down. The trail was topped up with material from Salvation junction through to the end. Small jumps with pointy landings became slightly bigger jumps with better landings. Big improvements! – Thanks to Penny & Dave!
Dale’s – Seymour

A session on Dale’s included a rake out, drains cleared, and a corner re-armoured to reduce erosion and smooth out the line. – Thanks to Penny!
Dreamweaver– Fromme

A drainage culvert recovered and reinstalled, eroded sections retread, and the trail surface fortified where it had been softening. – Thanks to Peter & Joe W!
John Deer – Seymour
Multiple community trail days have been completed on John Deer. The June session tackled the section above the Buck Huck, adding 20 feet of cribbed rock armouring on the steep downslope below the feature. A trail that gets hammered is now in significantly better shape for summer! – Thanks to Martin & Neil!
King of the Shore – Fromme

Griffens – Fromme
A sustained effort from the Youth Trail Stewards, with community volunteers joining in for the finish. Dirt work was completed across multiple sessions on a re-route on Upper Griffin, roots cleared from the surface, and the old trail alongside the new line closed off. Lower Griffin received progressive loads of dirt across three separate sessions, with the final push timed to coincide with Bike to School Week. Mystery DH – Cypress

Rhythm rollers were added and corners rebuilt in May as the lower section rebuild got underway. June brought a full berm and straightaway rebuild at the top of the trail. – Thanks to Daniel S & Trail Crew
Pangor– Seymour
TAP Partner: Liv/Giant
Three sessions on Pangor across June. The bridge exit was realigned where rockwork had shifted and left an awkward line which was cribbed in using wood and hardware salvaged from a decommissioned feature lower on the trail. Dirt and rock work followed on the approach to the next bridge. A cribbed berm near the trailhead was refilled and reshaped, a braid closed, and drains opened throughout. – Thanks to Dave C!
