As Executive Director, Cynthia provides strategic leadership to advance the organization’s mission and long-term impact. She guides operations, supports member engagement, and strengthens partnerships to promote growth, advocacy, and build community. Working closely with the Board, employees, trail builders, stakeholders, and members, she drives innovation and ensures the organization remains responsive to the evolving needs of the mountain biking community.

Cynthia brings a deep understanding of the organization’s history and community, having previously served as a Board Member and Programs & Sponsorship Manager, and as a dedicated trail builder. As an active, longtime user of the North Shore trails, her passion for stewardship and sustainable trail development runs deep. Her leadership is grounded in integrity, vision, and a passion for empowering the organization and individuals to succeed. Cynthia is the primary point of contact for organizational direction and community engagement and is always excited to connect with members to hear ideas and explore how to build something even greater, together.

Serving as Trail Director for the North Shore Mountain Bike Association, Henry brings years of experience as both a professional downhill rider and a dedicated trail builder. With a deep love for mountain biking and his local North Shore trails, Henry plays a crucial role in leading improvements in the trail network.

I was born and raised on the North Shore, with the Mt. Fromme trails just outside my back door. I’ve been biking and hiking the local trails as long as I can remember. This has left me with a deep appreciation of our local environment and the excellent trail network that we enjoy.

I want to contribute to the sport in a positive way and help preserve the North Shore as a progressive riding area. I am grateful for the opportunity to help maintain the trails in a sustainable manner, and so they can be enjoyed by all riders.

Originally from the steep valleys of South Wales, I’ve relocated with my Canadian partner, where the North Shore mountain views are forever inspiring.

As Marketing Manager, I lead the NSMBA’s marketing strategy to build brand awareness and grow our community. Working on membership and donation campaigns, managing our social media and email communications, overseeing content production, and maintaining our member database.

Being part of NSMBA is a natural fit, blending my passion for bikes, trails, and outdoor adventure with a love of creative marketing and meaningful storytelling.
