The Trail Crew, builders, and volunteers have been enjoying August to it’s fullest, which includes making use of the good weather to get some major trailbuilding done!

Here’s a brief look at some of the work that was done over the past month:

Imonator is getting a facelift!

The trail crew has been busy replacing the old wood on its features with fresh cedar.

The trail is currently closed while the work is on-going, but keep your eyes on our social media pages because it’ll be open again soon!

A new bridge was put in over a creek bed on Pile of Rocks.

Upper Griffen had some of its berms rebuilt and resurfaced with fresh gold dirt.

Berms have been freshened up with new dirt on the Big Stupid as well.

Roadside Attraction also got fresh dirt to smooth out the ride and cover up exposed roots and rocks.

Oilcan had some cedar work done! Check out the replaced jump with an improved landing and better alignment.

Some of the Trail Days we’ve had this past month:

  • Bottletop w/ Ridgeline Events
  • Fromme Ascent w/ RunWild
  • Leppard w/ BGC Engineering
  • Seventh Secret w/ More Bikes
  • Dale’s Trail w/ Youth Trail Stewards
  • Holly Haul-out!

Before and after of an eroded portion of Bottletop. This section had soil retention bars put in and was topped up with fresh dirt to make it more sustainable.

If you see any any maintenance issues on the trails be sure to report it via Trailforks! It’s the best way to alert the builders of any work that needs to be done.

And be sure to find a date and time to join us on the trails by checking our Events Calendar
