Thanks to support from the Young Family Foundation, work is now complete on Circuit 8. Digger has completed the final installment of what has been a five year journey to bring the trail to a sustainable standard.
The trail now incorporates all levels of trail from beginner to intermediate to advanced (please see map below). Many builders deserve recognition in this journey including Matt Preston, Mathew Bond, Patrick Podolski and the many volunteers that contributed their efforts on trail days over the course of this journey. It is important to recognize the contribution from Rocky Mountain Bicycles, BC Bike Race and Capilano University Outdoor Recreation Program – without their support, this would not be possible.
The NSMBA would like to thank all of you who have contributed to this project.
Matt Preston started the journey 5 years ago to revitalize what can only be described as a mud bog.
Digger finished it.
