A massive THANK YOU to everyone who rode, volunteered, and cheered at the Shore Shenanigans Women’s Enduro. The energy was incredible!

$5 from each entry (totalling $400) has been given to the the GoFundMe for Caileigh Koppang #Caileighstrong

We want to continue to build a community that supports women, trans, femme, and non-binary riders. This is something bigger than just one event. And to do this, we need more women leading the charge at the NSMBA – shaping our direction and the future of the trails.

If you have the time and the skills, we’d love to see you join a committee, step into governance on the Board of Directors, or get more involved in trail building. Our NSMBA team of builders, employees, and directors should reflect our community.

We are putting a special focus on recruiting for our Event Committee and our Board of Directors. Volunteers from the community can be added to committees year round, just send us a note that you’d like to be involved and how you want to contribute. Board members are elected at our November Annual General Meeting, and we’d love to talk to you in advance to help you decide if that would be a fit for you.

  • Events & Volunteers Committee
Build community engagement and fundraising through volunteer coordination and event planning (especially our Fiver events). This team also makes recommendations to the board regarding volunteer retention and long term event strategy.
Get involved: If you love bringing people together and organizing the fun, email info@nsmba.ca
  • Board of Directors
In October/November we open applications for our Board of Directors, holding an election at our AGM in November. Learn more about being a Director.
Reach out to any one of our board members or to our Executive Director cynthia@nsmba.ca if you have questions about being on the board.
  • We’re Hiring! NSMBA Trail Manager

You’ll be our main point of contact with land managers; handling meetings, walk throughs, and permit applications. Strong communication and leadership skills matter as much as your time on the tools.
