2013 North Shore Kick Ass Awards
2013 was an incredible year on the Shore!
The work accomplished was led by an army of people out in the field, as well as behind the scenes greasing the cogs. There are a huge number of people to recognize and thank for your efforts. For those of you who contributed in any way this year, a big thank you is in order.
There were some exemplary contributers this year. People who were out at every event, every trail day, going above & beyond to make things happen. No matter how much was asked, the answer was always yes. And for those who rose above the challenges and went beyond the call of duty, we recognize your efforts with the first ever, annual North Shore Kick Ass awards.

Metro Vancouver sanctions two trails on Mt. Seymour
Discussions between the NSMBA and Metro Vancouver have resulted in the trails "Lola" and "Cambodia" being officially recognized by the land manager. Both of these trails are rated as expert (double black diamond) and are recommended for only the most experienced and skilled riders to ride at their own risk.

We are a volunteer driven non-profit organization dedicated to caring for a sustainable trail network within the community.

Red Bull Hardline heads to beautiful British Columbia for its first-ever event in Canada, as riders prepare to take on this iteration of the world's most extreme downhill race at Cypress Mountain.
The unforgettable course at Cypress Mountain will be incomparable to other downhill bike courses, with elements borrowed from dirt jumping and BMX that are not allowed in the World Cup and other UCI races. These include massive jumps and gaps, steep drops of 10m plus, 'rock gardens', and steep descents.
