NSMBA seeks help with Grant Writing

NSMBA seeks help with Grant Writing

As the NSMBA continues to grow our capacity and increases the work being done on the North Shore trails, we are constantly trying to improve our funding to attain higher value goals such as an NSMBA trail crew, several specific trail projects and development of new opportunties for mountain biking.  Part of this equation is the constant seeking out of grants to fuel our efforts.  This is a general call out to the community for help with these efforts whether finding grant opportunities and/or the actual writing of grant applications.  Please help spread the word to help us move together in the right direction.  Please respond to mark@nsmba.ca

North Shore Bike Fest sponsors bridge project on TNT/Cabin Trail

North Shore Bike Fest sponsors bridge project on TNT/Cabin Trail

The North Shore Ripper has sponsored the rebuilding of 60 feet of rotted bridgework on TNT/Cabin.  Thanks to their support, NSMBA builders Chris Barker & Earl Allen took 3 days to replace the expired section of woodwork which was over ten years old.  Rotted stringers and broken slats were in rough condition.  The new work is a much needed improvement.  Support the North Shore Ripper, they support the Shore.

Sign up for the North Shore Ripper events coming up on June 8/9/10!
