For the last month, the trail crew focused a lot of their time working on the aMTB loop and are excited to announce that the brand new Hiking trail (name TBA) is now officially open to the community, with work on Old Buck, Bridle Path and Empress Bypass proceeding on schedule!

They and the other builders were also able to conduct regular maintenance throughout the network, got all the work permits set up for 2019 and finished up a few lingering projects before taking some well-deserved Holiday time.

As we continue into 2019, the trail crew is planning on finishing up the work they’ve been conducting on Dreamweaver and Lower Digger and getting ready to give some fresh cedar to the Technical Trail Features (TTF’s) on Immonator.

Thank you to everyone who emailed us or made a report on Trailforks regarding fallen trees or other damage when we had the period of high winds. Thanks to you, the builders were able to respond to the problems quickly to get the trails back in action.

Want to come out and work on the trails? We’re finalising all the trail days for 2019 so check out our Events calendar to stay updated on what’s coming up! Email info@nsmba.ca if you have any questions of comments.

And Remember to report any maintenance issues you see on the trails via Trailforks!
